We understand that sometimes it’s easier to order our tasty cheese from the comfort of your home than to venture out to our farm; we’ve made it easy to do so! We offer all of our cheeses for sale online and we’ll ship to you.

Although we ship our products in insulated boxes with ice packs, we recommend selecting UPS Next Day Air for shipments outside of New England, or 2nd Day Air for shipments within New England during warm weather.

If recommended option is not chosen, we do not offer refunds for melted products. Severe weather and/or COVID-19 may result in shipping delays but we do not ship Thursday-Sunday to avoid this as much as possible.

Cheese Facts: Temperature, Age, and Storing

We age our cheeses in 55°F, so you shouldn't worry if the cheese arrives slightly warm and the ice packs have melted. Just pop it in the fridge to help firm up! It should be just as delicious as if it arrived super cold.

Our cheeses are best enjoyed at room temperature. To allow the flavors to mingle and peak, leave them out awhile before serving (about 30-60 minutes).

Our cheeses get sharper and drier as they age. You may notice a few of our aged varieties have “spots” or holes filled with white crystals. This is NOT mold. These pockets occur naturally when the lactic acid converts to a crystallized form. They add to the texture and flavor of the cheese!

After opening our cheese, it is best to wrap it tightly in cheese paper or cling wrap. Our least favorite way to store our cheese is in a Ziploc bag, as this will cause it to mold faster.

If mold should occur, just cut it off and enjoy the rest of your cheese. Most cheese molds are surface, and once detached from the cheese, they do not affect the inside product. Use your taste to decide how much needs cutting. If you cut some off, and the rest still tastes a little off, keep cutting until you get the flavor you know and love.
